Gdańsk has an airport - the Lech Wałęsa Airport in Gdańsk. It is located 10 km from the city centre and can be reached by public transport. The airport has the code "GDN". There is a well-developed tram and bus network in Gdańsk. There is also a metropolitan railway linking the Tricity: Gdańsk-Sopot-Gdynia. Gdańsk can also be reached by ferry from Sweden and Denmark.

Students are entitled to discounts on public transport:

  • 51% to trains up to the age of 26
  • 50% to buses and trams without age limit
